Three Pairs of Glasses by Greg Bennett
This amazing story is about a young salesman who struggles with not only his career, but also with his family life, and his outlook on the world in general. This is a work of fiction with self-awareness concepts weaved masterfully throughout. Such an easy read on one hand, and so much "food for thought" on the other... I enjoyed the story, but needed to the "food for thought" in my own life.
This book helped me begin to realize some truths that I continue to struggle with on a daily basis.
- Noise: Silencing the world's noise is critical for my peace of mind and peace of spirit. Quiet is hard, but quiet is beautiful.
- Perspective: Focusing on the little things distracts me from the bigger picture . The big picture is... I am blessed beyond measure!
- Now: Living in the moment is all I have. I want to be present with people and situations I experience. The past and the future can rob me of the present if I am not careful.
I am blessed to know the author, Greg Bennett, as a personal friend and I've enjoyed chatting with him at times about the concepts presented in this fiction story. Greg is insightful with a wicked sense of humor...charismatic and generous...this guy is the real deal!

Read this book... 5-star story, 5-star "food for thought"...Enjoy
